My name is Monica La Porta. I was born in Rome, 41 years ago, and I have been living in the green Pacific Northwest for the last ten. I am married (my husband is strongly encouraging me to write how lucky I am, and how great he is), I have two kids (they are not encouraging me, strongly or otherwise, to do anything since they are teenagers, and therefore I am a constant source of embarassment for them), I also have two beagles (they are currently barking in the backyard. I am not sure if it means something else other than the fact that the rabbits are back). When I am not busy with the aforementioned group of bypeds and quadrupeds, I like to write, read, paint, sculpt, walk, cook, and listen to music.

My name is Jeanne Miller and I'm a Pet Psychic Medium/Author living on the East Coast, USA.  Residing with me is my rescued Siamese cat, Simon Pasquale, and his three pet mice.  

My first book The Pet Psychic Diaries recounts readings from my first year as a working Pet Psychic Medium. Being able to communicate with animals is an honor and a privilege.  I've talked to some amazing animals and I hope, through my writing, to share the magic of their words with people.   

I also write fiction under the pen name of J.C. Miller and have just published my first short story.  Dual is a sci-fi story about a woman from a dystopian world, who finds a portal to a much better life..complete with her own doppelganger who stands in her way.
